I'm around the holland area out here by the lake.
But anyways, I attempted to replace my fuel filter tonight and ended up with fuel pouring out. The fuel heater wasn't plugged in anyway so I'm thinking tomorrow I'll see about finding one of those close nipples to delete the fuel heater. Does anybody know if napa has a part number for that? Thanks for your help!

I have my doubts about NAPA.But that could be a local thing.
Genos has them.

As I was studying the wiring diagram for the clearance light mod, I was appalled that most of the circuit is wired with 18g, and fused at 20 amps.

I got almost all the fusible links taken care of, I got an f150 fuse box from a junkyard and cut and soldered like crazy. The only thing I need to get to next is to find a fuse of some sort for the alternator. I'm thinking a stock alternator is probably 75 amps, correct me if I'm wrong. I also should fuse up my trailer brake and a future cb wire. Some pics just for you guys.

Well I went and bought the $26 Genos nipple and it worked like a charm. Luckily for that price. They also sent a couple sweet stickers so I'm not upset with the price anymore!

Trailer brakes should be a 20 amp auto reset breaker. 12 g wire.
CB can run off the auxiliary circuit. or a separate 5 amp circuit, unless you have a monster heater on it.

Alternator will put out 120 amps. you need a 150 amp fuse. They bolt down on a stud block type fuse holder.

The heaters draw over 100 amps each, over 200 total. That's why the lights dim repeatedly after a cold start. The alternator can't keep up. The dimming is normal.

Yea the only two with maxi's were the tranny cooler (20A). The headlights and fuses 4 5 and 6 in the cab (20A) and the rest of the links were put on the regular type fuses. The smaller (22 guage) link got 10 amps and then the 20 guage got 15 amps. Most of the fuses didn't get used
