charging issues

OK dodge gods. My charging system is very erratic. It comes and goes and affects my OD. I thought my alternator was crapping out so replaced it. No better!!! Any suggestions?

Crank Position sensor is faulty, or the computer itself. common problems. Computer controls both O/D and Charging system.

All this info is in the "Sticky" at the top of the 1st gen forum- Here's a link

dont jump to expensive conclusions

check the gap on the crank position sensor first.

Question?? I've read the checks ect on the 91.5/93. What's the advantages of the conversion to external regulator vs the stock setup? Or the advantage of stock?
