I was thinking of going; never been to the truck nationals... I never miss the Chryslers at carlisle, though... Do they have a big parts flea market there like they do for the Chrysler show?

Yeah the have a pretty decent size flea market. I'll be the only 1st gen coming down from my area, Grey 2wd (ugly) Dually parked by my buddy's '02 White 2wd and a Camo Suzuki Samurai.

Me and my dad will be there, we're spending the night so we'll be there friday, saturday, sunday with the guys under the fullsizechevy.com tent (trying to sell our 81 c10)

we'll be sure to walk over to where the 1st gen guys show off their rigs, Tater93 is usually there.

you going in the show right John ?? would about you Zach? theres a special section for 1st gen dodges.

Hmmmm... I wonder if I'll have any luck finding stuff; I usually make out pretty good at the Chrysler show, but some people are just plain loco for what they ask for some of their stuff....

Be prepared its mostly 73-87 chevy truck parts, thats what 75% of the show/swap meet is.

and the "unda construction" mini trucks

Last time we were there, there was a guy that had like 3 or 4 nice 91-93 grilles, he buys them from all over

i am going to try to get there although there is no point in putting my truck in the show. I would assume there is normal spectator parking? It has been about 10 years since i was there and that would have only made me 12 so i really don't remember much.

I didn't really see much for 1st gens last year nor did I know there was a 1st gen section. I always enter in the "Fun Field", it's cheaper than the competition and it's not judged. We should have our golf cart on air ride there as well.

Theres a pre-94 section

2 years ago ther was 3 first gen diesels in there and some 1/2 ton shortbeds and stuff of course, 1 of the diesels was Tater's show truck and the other 2 were random duallies that were tastefully done

Your truck doesn't have to be nice. just represent!

I'll be in the non competition show field
