Can you guys help me out ?
I'm looking at a 1989 D350. The brake booster was leaking and replaced. Well I believe something is not right about the area under the driver's side cab floor. Its not obvious being that its under coated. Its like the floor was patched or something added.
The area in question is under the driver's floor acrossed from where the bottom of the fender meets the cab. There is like a boxed area or hump which comes from like the fender and blends into the floor board.
Can someone please send me some pictures of this area ?
My email is 1967@redbird.net
Thanks !

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for, answer-wise. From what I gather, you're looking to buy a truck and you're wondering what happened to the floor? AFAIK, the floor should be flat. Why don't you ask the owner? Or you did already and the answer you got wasn't satisfactory? It could be the floor rotted out due to the door vent leaking, which is a fairly common problem on these trucks. You have to remember, these trucks are getting OLD, so maintenance is just a given.
... I should say MORE maintenance is just a given.
