can i cut this?

I was wondering if it would be a big deal if i drilled a few holes in the core support of my 93? dont ask me why but i like the 89 grill and i wanna make it so i can switch back and forth between 89 and 93 grills. the only thing stopping me is i dont have a hole for the light cable to go to the turn signal lights. (ive made all other adjustments) if i drilled a 2 inch hole roughly 2 inches below the existing turn signal cable hole....would that be a big deal? i dont think it would i just wanna be positive before i make a big mistake.

thanks guys

I can't see why it would matter to be honest. Cut until your heart's content!

You cant. Unless you want to move the headlight buckets everytime.

You should forget those and install the 72-80 grille with round lights!

Awesome swap!
I couldn't get all those fancy older parts . I got a Trailduster grille as a donation from a fellow Dodge enthusiast so I figured the rest bymyself

I even have the square headlamp adjustment system behind the round lights. They just needed little cut and weld

I agree that the 81-91 grille is betterl ooking than the plastic 91.5-93 grille but the 72-80 grille is the best by far! Like the 72-80 body style is so much nicer but that is a lot more work than few hours

I like the look that Erska's gotten to and I've got the parts to do just that. But, I think I'll keep them until something messes up my "92 grille before I go through all that for cosmetics alone. But you go for it! Packratc
