can I bolt 2nd gen mounts to 1st gen block

can I bolt 2nd gen mounts to 1st gen block

Tried to get a quick answer on this but maybe the 12 valve forum guys didnt know

I have found a 1st gen motor to install in my 94 4x4.

My question is will the 2nd gen mounts bolt directly to the 1st gen block

Yes AFAIK the blocks are the same, it is the adapter plates that are different.
