cam for my 93

Im in the process of changing my timing case due to a kdp death. Was wondering if I would benefit from an upgraded cam? The motor is stock internally with 5x12 injectors and the pump turned up. Im going to put a 366 spring in the pump while I have it off and maybe a fuel pin. I dont want anything radical as this is my daily driver and I tow with it sometimes. Any suggestions?

From: A 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.
it will help egt's and spool up if you get an aftermarket one. if its worth the time and money to you, go for it. i dont know if i would do it unless i had cash to spend.

I know my truck had a cam put in it by the previous owner but I don't know what type. It pulls hard down to 900 rpm, very responsive and has a distinct sound that i've never heard before. The spool up with the 18.5 housing was pretty impressive too. The only negative is that by 1900rpm the power falls off fast.

If your gonna keep "stock" and not go for big power then I would vote keeping the money in the bank or to get some other parts that could be more worth while. But that's just me.
