Cab lights or no

Ok guys I got the truck painted a year ago, and had it sanded and buffed last week. I was waiting to add anything to the truck till I got it buffed. I scored some cab lights a while back and want to know what you guys think of them on my truck.

As it sits now.

They are an aftermarket "Hella" brand cab light, made to look like stock, but they have a chrome housing instead of white or grey plastic. Here are some pics of them sitting on the truck.

Nice clean truck and great paint job, but can't make up my mind on the lights.

Yeah, DEFINITELY mount 'em up!! :-) But, as those seem to be the nice Hella aftermarket chrome ones, you really should trade me for my old faded gray plastic originals...I'd be willing to sacrifice my oem ones for yours, I'm just that kinda guy!!

For real though, those would look really kewl on there!

I would put them on, but have fun snaking a wire down the pillar. I almost would leave them off. maybe should have cut all the holes and stuff before the nice paint job. There a lot of work!!

Here is my take on cab lites, visors,CB antennas. or any hole you drill in the roof of any car or truck THEY WILL LEAK ! I almost don't buy the truck that I bought Last year because it has a visor on it I got the truck in October It rains in October in the N.W. the floor was damp but the price was right. last week end it rained pretty good and it rained in the cab to I would not drill any holes in a roof if dint have to. I say put them on take your time and do it right and they wont leak. I wish my truck had been ordered with them from the factory. I have decided to put
LED units on the light bar rather then the factory ones as I have a visor.

Mount them! I think cab lights complete a truck. Trucks look to plain without them, but I have to agree, DO A PERFECT JOB MOUNTING THEM.
