Cab Light wiring.
I Drove home from work tonight and I noticed that the dome light in the cab only turns on when the passenger door opens, not the drivers side door. How would I go about diagnosing this?

I don't know if it would be your situation; but, I was trying to route some wires through the larboard door pillar on the wife's truck and must have knocked loose the door-button wires, as her driver-door quit working the light.
OR, it could be like I usually do all of my personal trucks.
I dis-like the interior of a vehicle automatically being flood-lighted when I open a door; if I want a light ON, I will turn it ON.
Thus, I purposefully dis-able any door-buttons.

Hmmm, I like that Idea, maybe I shouldnt worry about the driver side switch and wire a button into the circuit for the passenger side. Put the button beside the cargo light and I'm good to go. Thanks

I would check the little push in switch located just inside the door jam near the hinge. On my truck that typically gets stuck on the passenger side and if you pop it out like it should be when the door is open then the light will illuminate.

Yeah, I found that. It was not stuck. I was really hoping it would be... It's deff a wiring problem but I don't even know where to start as far as fixing it.
