A/C system
Much like Thrashingcows, I'm in the slow process of retrofitting the i/c Sanden a/c compressor into my truck. I want to order the compressor and whatever parts necessary all at the same time so I have everything I need. My system was retrofitted to R-134a about 4 years ago so I've already had the high and low pressure schrader valves. The list of what I know I need so far comprises of:
Sanden SD7H15 compressor

Pag 46 Oil with Dye

#8 - 90* Female O-ring fitting

#10 - Straight Female O-ring fitting

Lengths of #8 and #10 barrier hose

I might replace the drier as a just because. I've seen/read about gaskets used in certain places rather than o-rings. What I need is to figure out exactly what o-rings and/or gaskets I'll need for the job and where the gaskets will be needed.
This has probably been discussed numerous times but I appreciate any information and help that you can provide. Thanks!

look up aeroquip EZ clip hoses. will make life easier for you if you dont have a crimper for the fittings.
i have a crimper and still use the stuff.
cut hose lubricate orings slide onto barb and install clamp/clips...that easy.
oh ya REPLACE THE DRIER
if your going to all the trouble the least you could do is change the moisture removal item.
oh ya while its out blow out the cond/evap with nitrogen
dont forget to lubricate the orings when installing with PAG oil.
check the metering device too.
any more questions just ask
