Brake Pedal Goes to the Floor when Turning left
Brake Pedal Goes to the Floor when Turning left
Hello Everyone
1992 Dodge w250
I have read many of the posts on the ABS brakes.
I have a unique braking issue which the owner before me could not fix.
My brakes work great all the time. But when I am at low speed doing a hard left turn ( ex. round about) my brake pedal will go right to the floor , the abs light comes on and, then the brakes come back very hard. It will not do this when I do a hard right turn or in any other scenario, but will do it every time in the left turn. I had someone take a look for me but and there are no pinched lines or anything. Any ideas?
Thanks

That sounds like two different things. The pedal going to the floor would not be due to the vac system. That could be air in the lines or a leak. Barrow a buddy to turn the wheel left and cycle the pedal in park while you look for leaks.
The abs light comes on for low vac, which also causes a harder than normal pedal feel.

For the life of me, I could have sworn that crossy's son, Brandon, or another NJ 1st genner had the same problem about a year ago....
Maybe I was just smoking too much crack that week....
