Blue & Silver truck pics please

Hi, new guy here. I finally got around to doing my "new guy" intro in the introduce yourself section.
My brother and I just bought this 90 to restore and sell. We're looking to repaint it with the original blue but with silver inserts.
Anybody got pics of that combo.
Thanks in advance.

Here's a pic of mine from about a year ago before I changed a few things around on it.

the 2 tone combo on that 90 is gonna be a tad different. the 2 tone was only from the Trim down on the 89-90 trucks. they moved the trim up quite a bit on the 91-93 trucks.

That's a pretty nice truck, why aren't you keeping it?

Yeah, I really like that colour just the way it is. Is it a stick? I'm pretty jealous.

Thanks. I already own a 01 2500 4x4 HO w/6spd. I really don't need another truck. My brother and I buy/restore/sell muscle cars.

We bought this truck to "flip" after some body work and good paint job.
It looks to me like these Gen-1 trucks kinda have a "cult following" and the prices are going up.
We picked this one up for $2900, so I just couldn't pass it up.

This will be our first Dodge Diesel resto.

This is what we finished last....

Thanks. It's actually got the adapting bell housing and a NV4500 5spd tranny.

getrag/4x4 combo's are few and far between. When you do find them they are expensive regardless of the condition. With an NV4500 behind that it's even more rare. I'd say if it wasn't running $2900 would still be a good price. If you put a nice paint job on that and made it look really clean it would go for north of 6k if you waited for the right buyer.

An even better idea would be to keep it haha, I'd take that over a 2nd gen every day of the week.

rswoyer,

If that is a factory two-tone, I would like some pictures of how the two-tone carries on across the tail-gate, PLEASE.

The wife's truck is two-tone black/silver with red accent stripes along the upper divide in color.

We got the truck with an off-color solid-color tail-gate and I have been meaning to paint the tail-gate to match the rest of the truck, but have no idea how it should look.

Thanks.

Bearkiller, does it have the aluminum LE band across the tailgate?

The 2 tone wraps around the back and goes across the bottom of the tailgate from the band down and the top edge of the tailgate is done in the 2 tone as well.

on 89-90 2 tones, because the body trim is much lower, the tailgate is the solid color. with no 2 tone on it, unless it's the 89-90 style with the chrome trim on the upper body line and 2 tone.

These might help on the tail gate question

YES; that helps a bunch, especially the one minus the aluminum trim.

Thanks.
