BD cooldown turbo timer installation help?
BD cooldown turbo timer installation help?
Well I know a guy around here that has a 92 w250 like mine but with a flatbed and a manual, and he has a few parts and I have a few parts so we have done some trading and I'm gonna put a 366 spring in for him when he gets one and he said he'd trade me a brand new BD turbo timer, so i said deal. So I got it from him and finally fixed my shut off solenoid so it'll shut down with the key. He gave me the timer in a bag with a lot of wire and stuff but he said he didn't have the instructions for it. On the bag it says thermocouple not included, but in a seperate bag in there there seems to be what looks like to me a thermocouple? Do i need to run another another temperature probe? or can i just hook it into my egt gauge??? Any help on this would be appreciated since i have no instructions? thanks

I have the manual that came with my BD Cool Down on my '06. It looks like it has wiring diagram and color codes for a '94 which probably is like your '92.
I can email you a compressed copy of the entire 15pages or can just copy out the relevant pages for you. If you want the whole manual, send me an email to Danavilla@msn.com
