Ball joints.

Hey all quick question I would like to know if there is a difference in quality between the moog ball joints and spicer ball joints the truck that needs them replaced is a 92 Dodge D250 if any one has answers for this that would be great.

I couldn't tell you the quality difference, but I can tell you most everyone will say to use Moog. (A'course, now there'll be 15 replies saying Spicer is better...)

I know at work my boss likes to install moog because of they have a zerk fitting so you can keep greasing them. might want to see if the spicer ones have it. if not id probably run the moog's.

Too me, Moog is the best. When u pick out a ball joint for a D-250, be sure that u are getting one for the 4000lb. axle. The other has a 3/4" tapper rather than the 7/8" tapper that the knuckle requires. I know this because the idiots @ O'Reiley's sold me the light one & it failed inspection for that reason alone. Now I get the headache of tearing it all back apart, not to mention the extra money its going to cost.
