Bad Vibration??????

Open for suggestions.....My 93 D350 has pickup up a vibration in my truck and it gets worse the faster I go. I don't notice much 55 mph and under. But I do notice it 55 mph and higher. Sometimes it seems to come and go. But it never really goes away. Sometimes I feel it in the seat sometimes in the steering wheel. Sometimes the whole truck seems to vibrate. The truck has 6 new tires and they all have been balanced twice. I've replaced all 3 universal joints. Any suggestions where or how to start to look for the cause of the vibration ???
Re:Bad Vibration??????

Had a very similiar problem. Mine turned out to be the u-joints. Since you replaced those, is there any chance your drive shaft is out of balance?

Carl

Re:Bad Vibration??????

On my '81 it was a slightly warped front rim. Moved it to the back and everything was ok.
Terry

Through some tire balance powder (name escapes me now) in the tires,
Have you a buddy you can swap wheels and tires with, that will sure reveal something!
If your drive shaft is a split type, 2wd, pull apart center u joint, and rotate yokes 180*

I had a bad vibration at 55+ MPH; turned out to be worn front wheel bearings. Replaced bearings and races, and it all but went away (I have 2 bald front tires that I got used, cause they hold air- and they didnt balance real well. Vibration gets better at 75+).
