Bad PCM on a 92'

Hi, I'm pretty sure iI have a bad PCM, I did wanna's pcm test and it all test ok on the plug side. My question is what keeps one from adding an external voltage regulator and giving the a/c relay and the tps switch 12 volts from a key on location? Is that where I need to power the O/D circuit?
