Availablility of brake parts

I'm going to look at a 1990 250 4x4 cummins tomorrow night. It has about 190,000 on it. Sounds like the guy ran the brakes metal to metal. Are the parts, rotors, drums pads, shoes etc available? He's willing to come down from the $3000 he wants but I don't want to buy something I'm going to have a hard time finding parts for.

Brake parts were not a problem for me to find for my '92. All the auto parts suppliers have them. From what I read around here I don't think that they will be for a '90 either.

Good Day,
JP.

Plenty of brake parts available.

The rear drum brakes are the same on a blue-million different applications, Dodge, Ford, Chevy, and numerous others, both Dana 60 and 70, have many, if not all, brake parts in common.
