Autometer C2 Boost??

Does anyone have experience with a C2 boost guage. It has a electronic sensor. When you start it up the gauge just goes to full boost. The PO said he had a 30 PSI guage and it wasn't big enough, so he had a 60 put in. Hasn't worked since.
Thanks in advance.

I dont know if the 30 psi kit and the 0 psi kit use the same sending unit. Talk with the PO to see if he changed the sending unit when he changed the guage.

Your best bet is to check with Autometer and see what they can do for you.

the autometer gauges use a map sensor to read the pressure and if he didn't change out the map sensor then voltage is off and that is what is causing the gauge to spike

Ok, I had some time to tinker with guage this weekend. I have good power and ground to guage. The sending unit says 0-60 PSIG right on it. I have continuity from sender to guage. Must be the sender?? Are these a 5v sensor?

I contacted Autometer, they said to "send it in"
They have some instructions on their website, no troubleshooting. Anyone have experience with these?

On a good note I hooked the power for the guages up to a power source that stays hot while cranking. This made my pyro work better. I wondered how I was hitting 1100* so easy. Now I have to work it to 900* I can have it cooled of to 300* way faster now too.
