I'm down here by Waco, but that's a pretty good stretch from Sulphur Springs. We have a local DTR/TDR group that meets in Waco once a month for lunch and work on trucks. Last month we had 18 trucks show up. As far as 1st gens...there are not many at all that I have seen. I always drive my 1st gen to the meetings because the guys like it better than the 05.

Charlie Charlie Charlie....
Who let you in the 1st gen forum anyways? Deep down you know you love to hear my golden voice. Something has to keep you coming back to these meetings. How do the horse's teeth look? They have to have the purttiest smiles south of the Red river.

Buchanan Dam, TX here. At least thats where I'm from. I go back home as much as possible still, but this stretch has been 2 years since my last trip back to TX.
I cant wait to get back to the Texas Hill Country. No place in the world like it.

Are you kidding? There are more Cummins powered trucks in Tx than any other state, you should be able to find them really easy. Half my friends back home drive Dodge CTD's, and maybe one or two of them have familys with ranches.
Just go to an Orileys Auto parts on a sunday night and i bet you will see a few.
Its the country thing to do.

I dont think you'll find very many 1st gens no matter where you go. There are about 3 or 4 in my town, but only one other that is modded. I always keep my eyes peeled for other 1st gens with gauges, but it's almost like looking for a needle in a haystack. You see alot of newer trucks with gauges, but not ,many of the older ones. Make the drive down to Waco one weekend and we'll squeeze some power out of that truck!
