Anyone painted their rims black?

I have a black truck and I'm thinkin about paintin my rims black. I don't have money for new fancy rims and I don't really like the looks of these rims with the hubcaps (although bigger tires make them look much better!) I would just pull the hubcaps off and paint em all black. I just wanna get an idea of what it may look like. So if anyone has done this, post some pics.

I cheated alot and scored myself a set of black d-windows for cheap instead of changing my studs to run my aluminum wheels. I was really surprised just how good black wheels look on my truck.

Just my plain ol' stock wheels with a few coats of dollar store paint.

That is my plan for the 2wd, take the dog dish hub cap off and just run with the beauty ring with the rims black and chrome lug nuts. I have everything, except the paint.

I don't remember but the guy who won truck of the month last month had his truck setup like this and I thought it looked pretty sharp.

I have a white dually and painted the wheels flat satin black and it looks pretty good. I really need to sandblast them though and repaint them. The black on black will be blacked out and should look pretty cool.

Nice!

I plan on finding some old stokers and painting them black with white center-caps.

DPS in AZ runs glossy black rims and stainless polished trim rings. Looks great. I'm gonna do that to my Blue Dog. H.

I have a 97 dually. I used an angle grinder with a wire brush then rattle canned primer, dark grey metallic, the some clear coat. I put my chrome center caps back on but not the tin simulators. Looks great.

I like having my rims painted the same color as the truck; eliminates the need for the trim rings.

those don't look bad, I like the way they look all black, with crhome lug nuts. I think I will do that, just paint them black and put some chrome lug nuts on it and polish up the hubs. I'll try and find some chrome lug nuts on ebay or somethin.

Dupla color makes a spray paint just for this. Works VERY well
