is there anyone in the houston or katy area that knows about the first gen 12 valves. this is my first one and i want to turn the pump up and advance the timing. right now i have a straight pipe and air filter on it. i was driving it the other night and it just doesnt seem to have much power. i think the pump may have been turned up a little cause of the smoke that it blows out when i really get on it, but want it to run better and have heard tha the timing and stuff will help. I would gladly help (i'm mechanically inclined) just not with these trucks. thanks
