Anybody useing a hx55 for twins?

I got a hx55w for very cheap and want to use it for twins and didnt know if it would work very good or if anybody was using this for twins or a big single? What do I need to make it work good with my hx35?How big of injectors can I run with this set up? And what kind of hp numbers would it make?

Too small for big power but could possible work for moderate HP...if turbine housing is big enough.
Usually they are not that big because the 55 is designed as a single.
Is it Wastegated? Would have to be to work in twins, I think.

I know little about the K31's other than that they are just a tad smaller than S400, I've been told.

I got the pieces together in the last 3 or 4 days to build a 5'' to 4'' adaptor for the downpipe. Don't know why maybe i'm just being a good boyscout being prepared. I've ended up with several turbos that I have no clue to what they are. Most all of them are off of big trucks.

No he means the Exhaust outlet. the hx55 looks ot have a 77mm turbine.

I read this thread and Came up with the HX55 having a 67mm compressor inducer. very small as the big turbo in a twins setup. As of now im calling this turbo a 65/77/22 ...one guy said he had a hx55 with a 16cm housing, idk

http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/in...002.msg1055805

Looks to have a 22cm exhaust housing going by one of the pictures in two links down

Also check out all these pictures of measurements of the HX55 i found- http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...lsetHX55Turbo/

5"

Or 4.5" can't really tell in the pictures link i posted above ^

I read the guys gauge in all these pics http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...lsetHX55Turbo/

And then punched in the numbers like 3.030 (3 in. and 30 thousandths) into this IN. to MM calculator http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...lsetHX55Turbo/

Still getting 65ish compressor, 77ish turbine, and I see a 22 stamped in this pic- http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...o/DSC00765.JPG

To come up with the compressor inducer Dia. do you measure this part- http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...o/DSC00760.JPG OR THIS PART- http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...o/DSC00761.JPG

HX-55's were mfg'ed with 64mm, 66mm, 72mm, 74mm and 76mm compressor bores. Looks like it's been done successfully and does work?
So it depends on which size 'Sleeperman' has.

I can tell you the primary turbo on my BD twins has a.......
66 mm compressor wheel
77 mm Turbine Wheel
20 cm2 exhaust housing (1.10 A/R)
Works great and runs cool up to 500 hp and 50 psi boost!
I added H2O/Meth and stay cool at 600 hp and 65 psi boost. (Primary turbo puts out 30-32 psi at WOT).

What did the HX-55 come off of? Was it on a truck ect? I think someone once mentioned it came off a Cummins 855.
