Another whats it worth post

I guy I am good friends with is looking at a truck that is for sale near me and we are trying to figure out what it is really worth. The truck is a 93 d350 le reg cab auto 3.54 with a ls rear and 99,000 miles. It is in ok shape it has new tires and paint but it is not no show truck. Interior is clean aswell except the carpet. I looked underneath it and I didnt see any rust anywhere.

Being that it has only 99K will keep the price up there a bit. Someone offered me $5k cash for mine as a work truck and the exterior has a long way to go before it can even be a thought for show quality! I'd take a guess at $6,000 - $7500 for it?

kbb says 6900 if you can even go by that. I drove the truck tonight and it drives very very nice. Tight no squeaks or rattles just needs some pump mods lol she is all stock.

I've heard recently that KBB tends to be on the low side of a vehicle's value. But it's all what you wanna pay for it. Does it have a price on it from the owner or is it one of those "call for pricing" deals?

Is it that blue one in Buena? lol

Check real hard for rust underneath, brake lines are a PITA to replace.

Dude that thing is rusty as anything underneath it!!!! the oil pan is actually about to go through it looked like to me,

i was literally laying on my back looking at it laughing to my friend telling him how rusty it was'

be careful i wouldn't pay more than 6000 for that thing it's gonna need brake lines in a few years.....The body on it wasn't bad though just a few dents here and there and looks like decent factory paint. had nice tires too

Wow! Without crawling under it, you'd never know about the rust! It does look to be in good shape otherwise!

The pics make it look nicer than it really is. If I bought that truck from what I saw in the pics alone I would be mad. It was on ebay and reserve wasnt met at 6600 but it now was 10500.

I did find a few things that I didnt like. Someone replaced the fusable links with new fusable links. The parking lights are on a toggle switch. The plug for the headlight switch has been replaced and they used butt connectors. And the cruise dosent work I never thought to check the horn.

Nothing wrong with butt connectors. I've been using them to install stereos for years.

I'd say that price is seriously high. But of course, it's on a lot and not in someone's front yard. The lot probably paid what that truck was worth...maybe $4500. I think my truck is probably in a lot nicer shape and I bought it last year for $5500...and it's 4wd!

But I guess that's easy to say from over here. ;-)
