Another "I want one"

I think I have found a new toy I must have, a tachometer for my turbocharger.

Instruction sheet.

I have seen optical tachometers used on a turbo when it was converted to a gas turbine.

That's cool! My VGT has a 2-wire connector on the center section and I've toyed with the idea of a shaft speed-type gauge...

If he lived in the rust belt and had to take his cab off the frame every other week, he would think twice about all the " extra " wires he has.

I would run all of the connections through several Amphenol and Anderson connectors then disconnecting them would easy.

The OD green, Amphenol MS-series connectors are works ov Art. I used them on the umbilical to the power supply on a tube amplifier I built. Silver plated connector pins...just beautiful.
cheers,
