i see you have the autometer diesel tach. i also have that. mine bounces at idle or until i put a load on as in turning my heater or head lights on. do you have this same problem. btw the dash pod looks very nice

 

my son used one of them in his 1st gen way back when they first came out looks good too

 

the autometer tach has never worked correctly. bounces around and doesnt read correct.

i have not found time to wire it to the factory plug yet.
