Aligning body panels
I have been pulling my hair out trying to align the panels on my truck, I made the mistake of buying part store fenders. Do you guys think a body shop would be able to align them. I have run out of patience . If they could, how much should I expect to pay
Without OEM parts, you might as well get used to it looking like.... well you know. A pro might be able to tune it up a little but aftermarket panels just plain suck!!
I have aftermarket fenders on mine and they don't fit anywhere!

Hey man, they're not goin to have perfect gaps but you can cheat them. Doors to cab first. Leave the stricker out till its where you want it. Then fenders to door. Leave the fender liners out. Make sure you have shims for the fender where it sit on the top of cab and bolts on bottom of cab. If you see the fender has a big gap up top and close down low you can cheat by jacking up the front of the frame then tightening the fenders in place. Also make sure your cab and core support mounts are correct. That will really throw you off if they are not correct I was able to buy a set from dodge a year ago. It takes patience and a partner to help haha.
Just keep working on it, mine didn't line back up. Come to find out the bushings for my radiator support were gone. After buying some new ones from energy suspension the fenders came in really nice. Also make sure you get new cab bushings as well. Even if they're worn 1/4 inch it makes for some problems where you'll see it 1/2 off.
