air lock
air lock
I changed the fuel filter and in doing so I had to tilt it to get under the linkage and I spiled some fuel out of it causing a air lock. the handle on the lift pump seems to be gone so I could not manually pump it up. I tried to find a nut or bolt to bleed the system but no luck. I finally had to loosen all the injectors and crank it over. Is there an easier way to bleed this system?

There is a plug on the banjo bolt coming out of the top of the filter to bleed the air off. (I think) Once you get air in the injector lines though the only way to get it to run is to bleed them like you did. Because the injectors have a high pop pressure, if you get any air in the lines you can't build up enough pressure to pop the injector so the air just stays there until you bleed it. This is why you never want to run one out of fuel.
