it won't hurt if you don't mind doing the work. If you don't like it advanced that far just pull the pump down past the factory marks and you will be where you were before you advanced it a tooth.

EGTs get up there when at WOT for long periods of time. Just playing around on the street i can't stay in it long enough for temps to be a problem. Towing, i just drive by the gauge when pulling large hills. On the highway temps are no higher than 1000 degrees cruising at 55-60. I peg out my 40psi boost gauge.

i dont mind the work at all....its all in the name of performance, do anything at any cost lol. well thank you for the info, now i know what me weekend entails.
