A518 dipstick tube removal

What is the secret? Or is mine just particularly stubborn

There is one bolt that is also a bell housing bolt after that it is just slid into the trans with an oring for a seal.

Got the bell housing bolt. But at least I don't feel like a total sally now lol

over the years i have found that dirt and crud collects on top of the o-ring. it really helps to squirt wd-40 or some such around it and then blow it out with air. that will help loosen the crud.
