9ft or longer flat beds?

so i have an ex cab truck and the cab is about shot and looking for a ex cab around my area thats for a good price or not all rusted out is a realy hard so i was thinking about a reg cab and a really long flat bed. has any one done this? . pictures and thoughs are welcome!!!

I'm sure the only thing you'll have to do is move the rear cab frame mounts forward to accommodate the single cab. From then, building or having a flatbed built shouldn't be hard to accomplish. A lot of truck body shops could easily do that for you.

I used to have a 10ft tow body on my '90 but it's a chassis cab. Now, I've got a 10.5ft. pickup bed on it.

jim did you do a build on your truck? i would like to see it how much was involved to make it a 10.5 ft bed i never thought about doing that.

Jimbo, the only thing (in my opinion) that would make you're truck look better is to have it setting in my driveway.
