96 Dodge Blower Switch Fix
96 Dodge Blower Switch Fix
Hey just wanted to share. My blower switch console went on my 96. This console also displays your wait to start, water in fuel indicators etc. Went to the scrap yard looking for a good one. First do you think there would be a diesel out there no way. Pulled one out of a 1500 V8. Pulled mine apart, removed cover which has the diesel indicators on it, removed indicator bulb sockets and slid the circuit board and connector out out of the bottom rear. Took the cover off the gas unit from the scrap yard, installed my diesel circuit board and bulbs, put my cover on the console assembly and voila my blower switch was runnin fine again and I won't freeze this winter. I was impressed chrysler didn't try to monopolize that part or maybe they just overlooked it. Anyways tons of 1500 V8's in the scrapper if you ever need a blower switch cheap and like new to keep your diesel warm. Cheers
