94 head and p7100 on a first gen?
94 head and p7100 on a first gen?
Has anyone done this..i'm not sure exactly is different but i would like to rebuild my 92 motor with the 94 head and p7100, bigger injectors and turbo. If i use a ats fire-ring head, and use headstuds and hd gasket how much boost can i run? and what can i expect for hp/tq
You'll also have to change the front gear case
Also, depending on the age of your 1st gen, you might not need to change the head!
O-ring the head, and studs should handle 60psi no problems from a single charger!
There is also more to guessing power than knowing your planning "injectors and turbo"
There are 300, 370, 435, and custom injectors, and about 50 different turbo's you could run!

Your 92 head will work just fine, Wich studs are u going to use? There are two different size's u will have to drill and retap the block for the big studs. Running fire rings and the small studs should be good for 80 to 95 psi. Take's a hole lot of fuel and turbo to make such boost. When my ppump convertion is done I hope to make At least 65 psi. I will be running a scheid flow benched pump. Should put out 450 to 500cc of fuel, 370 injectors, ats manifo. Not sure on the turbo yet. Twins or one big quick spooling canon? Who knows
