Quad 4x4 is the place to go. I ordered wheel bearings and a double spindle nut kit from them for under $500. Great and easy people to talk to, shipping was quick as they had all the parts that I ordered in stock.

Quad 4x4

TK8305C is the kit I bought for mine because it's a DRW axle. TK8304C is for SRW axles. Wheel Bearing Kits: Torque King Master Kits with Tools

Stronger gears, no. But, a set of 3.54s would be great with the 5-speed. If you're wanting a stronger axle overall, a Dana 80 would be something to consider.

I normaly use Randy's ring and pinion or Drive Train Services out of Detroit.

I don't need any parts bad enough to buy from Quad $X$ agin.

Second DTS; I've gotten stuff from them and they know what they're doing. I got the rear axle re-bearing kit from The Gearbox in Garden City( Detroit suburb ), for less than the mail order folks wanted...and skipped shipping. They also supplied a Dana Powr-Lok clutch kit for internet/mail order pricing too...fine folks indeed.
cheers,
Douglas

For a full rebuild, I would make sure I got a genuine Dana/Spicer gearset and Timken bearings. Then its the same as OE equipment, and lasts 300,000km without much trouble.

That said, my gearset looked decent at 388,000km so it went back in with whatever bearings I could get my hands on the fastest. (National)
