90 W350 - No Air/fan (Heat/Cool)

Looked around but couldn't find any "Known issue" on how to fix this issue.

Fan lever isn't working, doesn't matter what speed, just gently blows ambient (Usually uncomfortable) air.

Also don't have any display on my radio (Side note, obviously not related lol)

Thanks!

If you mean the fan speed switch itself is not working, then you either need to replace the switch; or, providing you are adept at such things, take it apart and rework it. The switch is rather simple.

I would first look at the blower fuse in the factory fuse-block; most likely, if it hasn't already been re-routed, you will find the fuse melted into the fuse-block.

The only fix is to cut the blower circuit out of the fuse-block, fuse it by some other means, and power it by some other means.

Odds are good you'll find the connector on the back of the switch pretty well smoked. You can replace it with .250 faston (blade) connectors. The switch will have let the smoke out also, so you'll have to get a supply of smoke for it, or a new switch which comes with the new smoke installed.

That'll fix it for a year or two. Jim lanes heater relay mod will fix it permanently.

I had the same problem on my 1990.

Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter in all positions.

I took apart the switch and cleaned the contacts, its been working great for well over a year now.

The switch isnt designed to be repaired, but you can carefully pry back the metal tabs just enough to take it apart, and then clean it out. Take a piece of sandpaper to clean the contacts. Reassemble and test with a multimeter.
I think I used a punch to knock the tabs back down.
