Not sure what year mopar changed the motors...think about 92-93? But Ma' Mopar used the same basic motor...with some wiring connector changes..and motor mounting flange orientation...from the mid 60's up to the early 90's.
It would be a good idea if you had your old motor with you when you go to get the new one from the parts truck/car. That way you can be sure the mounting orientation is the same as your old motor. I grabbed 4 motor for an old 60's mopar, from late 80's cars. The motors were the same, just mounted differently depending on application, so I had to be careful which motors I grabbed.
Ma'Mopar usually had left and right side motors as well, so that's why I say to either have the motor, or a good picture, with you.
