I recently put a set of seats out of a 06 in my 92, they set high in th back so i trimmed the brackets down and leveled them up, they turned out real nice.I am 6,1" and they are comfortable for me,

i have thought about doin this but do those new harder seats ride well in our trucks? i mean our trucks don't have a very good ride and most the cushion on my truck is in my seat, so with the newer, firmer seats, how comfortable is it?

Im working with one out of a 98. Ur best bet is to scrap the brackets that are on the seat and start new. I've had to move the mounting holes on the outside brackets and the inside two have to be almost nothing in the back. The stock brackets are 4" tall in the front and 1" in the back the ones on my 98 seat are 6.5" in the front and 4" in the back. But its worth it in the end.

I will probably pull the drivers side seat, and jump seat out of my dad's 2004, and stick them in my truck to see how well they will work.

"DanMan" had a set in his truck. Do a search. He had a picture of him sitting in them.
