I know there was a guy who installed the 3rd gen intercooler. He had to make new bumper brackets etc.

Has anybody else installed a 3rd gen intercooler? How much did it drop temps and affect boost levels?

 

Go with a PSD or a 2nd Gen....

 

i run a 3rd gen. works great. flows better than 2nd gen. went from non i/c h1c to 3rd gen w/ hx-35, left fuel the same,lost 2lbs boost,power felt alot better. i could tow the same load up the same hill 20 mph faster with safe egt,s. the psd intercooler sounds good too. whatever you find cheap, as long as its all aluminmun. i feel the stock 1st gen i/c is pretty poor compared to newer one.
