Retard the pump all the way before you start, it gives a lot more room. Clean the area very well. Clean hands are a must when working inside the pump - no dirt! A white sheet under the truck will help you find anything you might drop. Keep a finger on the "top hat" or you will be hunting for it, the idle spring, and the washer. Be careful to index the throttle shaft properly. If the truck does not run right when you put it back together, this is likely what you screwed up.

It won't run away unless you run the power screw in a bunch when you put everything back together.

To get at the back screw behind the AFC housing, I took a long 8mm wrench and cut the 90* off so it was about equal lengths. Then I took the 4" or so that I cut off and rounded the end off. Be sure to keep the 6 sides. It makes getting at that last screw and I didn't have to move the high idle screw either When you round the end off it acts like a u-joint. DONT use it to break the screw loose. Have fun!
