3200 gov spring

I am sure this has been asked 1000 times but here it is again.

Can I run a 3200 spring without a pyro?

What housing will be best fro plowing?

What housing do I have?

Who makes the best TC's for the money and What web site has them for the cheepest?

Thanks Cooper

---I would tend to say yes, but...man just get one---at least I'll feel better

---12cm w/g is the best, period....untill you fuss with the pump...
What housing do I have?
Should be the 18.5, if you're all stock. Get you a 12cm.

---Dunno, I've got the hand shaker model.

Lots of 2nd gen guys get rid of them when they add a bunch of fuel...keep an eye on the classifieds here. It was the stock housing on all but the late 2nd gen autos, so there are a lot still out there. In stock trim, they can be had for next to nothing. Mine had a Turbo Master wastegate controller already on it, so I paid a bit more. I couldn't see paying more than 30 or so bucks including shipping for one. JMO.

Actually the 12cmw/g housing is stock on all 2nd gen's. watch out for the 99-00(?) models they have a hy35 turbo that has a 9cm housing and its basically a completely different turbo not that its a bad turbo just be aware.

uhm get a gauge dude its worth the money, and it has a 21 housing the non intercooled 89 -91 had the 18.
a 12 works well but as was said any more fuel it wont, plus it tends to run a touch hotter because it restricts the air a bit.If you dont intend to add a lot of fuel look on ebay and get a hy-35, good turbos if you dont put pods in.they sell for under 200 all day.

For the record, in '92.5 they changed back to the 18cm housing. . .

But look on e-bay or in the classifieds here for a 12cm wg housing. It'll be just the ticket for plowing.

The 12 cm housing is awesome with stock injectors. Spoolup is instant and EGT is good.

You can get a pyrometer from the DTR store for a fair price. They can be had cheaper from places like Jeg's and Summit.
