3.07 and 35's

Im about to have my 727 gone through with a new TQ and am wondering if anyone is running this setup and how you like it.

35's and 3.07 sound rough and i dont know if the trannie will be happy when towing. Thanks.

3.07 is kind of a short gear for that big of a tire, you might want to consider stepping up to a 3.55 or something along those lines. that would really help out if you plan to tow.

i would not run 35's on 3.07's. Running them on 3.55's was bad enough. My 38's killed the 3.55's. I'm guessing that's what the 35's will do to you. And I had a 5 speed with lots of engine mods. I'd hate to see a 3 speed auto trying to push that.

Did admin delete my post on this thread and if so, ***? Yes, we don't allow "swap meet" activity on the forum. That belongs in the classifieds or in the PM system. - wannadiesel

Yeah i thought that the 35 might be a bit big.

35's would look sweet but too much hassle just to run um.

They look sweet but they do take away from my acceleration. I am also looking to re-gear. I put my hx-35 on with my old tires, and drove it a few times. it was quite a while before i drove it between then and when i put the 35's on, but it seems like they take a lot of power. I am probably geared better for the freeway now though. I would like to figure out exactly what gear set would put me back to where I was with stock 31.5" tires. I don't want to go back to those tires though.
