For my new 2wd I want to replace the exhaust and might as well go 4in. I"m not going to do a 4" down pipe so do you all think that if I got this tail pipe:

and then just a straight section from a reducer on the factory down pipe to the 4inch straight section.

So basically my question is, will a straight pipe from the down pipe to the tail pipe work, or will I need a bend or two?

i have that kit w/o the down pipe its a good setup but i had mine installed and welded super nice! you might need a bend where the muffler should go but that piece is only 40 bucks i think.... good luck
