Last night I installed a 2nd Gen. shift lever with the O/D switch on the end. I hated the dash switch since the first day I drove the truck! Man, what a difference! And the install is super simple. Took about 45 minutes. If anyone wants the convenience of this mod, don't wait. It's easy and cheap. The new shifter slips right in place of the old shifter. Hook up two wires on the back of the O/D dash switch and you're good to go. Mopar part number is 1-04690522AB. Cost is around $45 depending on what sort of deal the parts guy wants to give you.
