2nd gen rims, ford conversions, and brake stuff.

I am considering doing a ford conversion at some point not right away maybe next summer and I would like some info the year time frame would be between 1970 and 1990 so if you guys have any thing that would be great and the e brake and abs light are on on the dash of the 92 I am buying and clues as to what it might be I have my guesses and I was told a few things but what do you all have to say.

Not too sure what you're really asking as far the Ford question but the ABS/brake light is probably the sensor or conection on top of the rear diff is pooched.

Yeah its prob. the sensor, I unplugged mine in my old 91 because I don't like ABS and that triggered the dash light.

In terms of the ford thing like taking the motor out of my cummins and putting it in a truck from 1970 to 1990 and thats one of the things I was told the other thing I was told was the brake booster/vacum thing was shot and was quoted 500 to replace it!!

Search fordcummins
They're in Montana.
I ordered a catalog when I picked of a '79 Ford Crew Cab but is wasn't going to work the way I'd planned so I went and found a Dodge Crew instead.
Now the Dodge Crew may go up for sale as I've got too many projects around.

A buddy went through fordcummins...pretty good stuff. If you can fabricate you can save some money on motor mounts. You'll need the adapter to bolt the 5.9 to a ford trans though. Are you going with a 4x4? My vote would be to keep the A518 (auto) and use an adapter at the tcase to get the right drop. Other wise, why not use the front axle out of the dodge also? Not sure on the stick but I'm sure there would be an adapter out there for that as well.
