Exactly where is the year line demarcation between 2nd and 3rd gen? Is this a 3rd gen that won't fit our trannys? Don't know what they're going for at the Dodge dealer, but it's gotta be way more than this: eBay Item# 140079415644

 

2002 was the last year for the 2nd gen. 2003 started the 3rd gen.
That flexplate is for a 2nd gen.

 

Get a new one from Cummins for about $95. I wouldn't touch a used 166k mile wrecked unit.

 

It'll be interesting to see if this one sells for more than $95
