2 Wheel Drive Bumpers and Steel Wheels

Okay so I have a question for my fellow 2 wheel 1st gen owners have any of you built bumpers for your 2 wheel drive trucks? if so please put some pics up as I would like to see them and decide whether or not to make a bumper for mine. Secondly I have the 2nd gen steel rims and I have tried to get an answer to this before but can I bolt those rims directly onto my truck with no spacers or lug nut changes? thanks again guys and I hope to see some sweet pics

I could be wrong; but, I think, the 2nd Gen. wheels are NOT conical seat, but flat-faced hub-centric and require a flange-washered nut.

I am un-certain if this began in 1994 or later.

With the proper nuts, and so long as they rotate freely once bolted on, they should work fine.

I bolted a set to my truck with the first gen lugnuts. I got new lugnuts later to hold the centercaps on. I didnt have any problem the lugnuts not holding the wheels on.

Heres a bumper on our farm truck. It was on it when we bought the truck probably 10 years ago. It's look pretty good to me and forsure does the job.
