Well we got our good motor back together and in the truck. Made a couple hooks at Wahoo last weekend. It still wanted to bounce in the light class, but it is nice to have the power back.
Worked a little better in the heavy:
We decided to change the weight box up a little. Tried it over at West Point, NE and it was nice and smooth.

Last night we went down to the Cass Co. fair and pulled again. The track was pretty hard and rough. Got a little bounce in the light, but most of the other trucks did too. There was quite a bit of breakage last night, thankfully our truck held.

Well my truck and the 14mm survived another hook from last night at the Bear Lake County fair in Montpelier, Idaho, just over the mountains from my hometown.
took 3rd out of 4 trucks in the 3.0 class with 269. 2nd place pulled 271, we were all pretty close.
Next on the list is tires! This set has bout had it.

So far I've been very happy with the 14mm and these injectors. I have a lot more fuel than I thought I would. Even this 66 cant even try to clean them up so I'm already thinking bout going bigger or possibly twins. I've put probably close to 1000 miles on this pump, seen 34-3600 rpms running down the track, and I've even seen 4000 a few times and I haven't had any problems with it yet. But i've been very happy with the setup, I just need more air.
Terry are you planning on pulling in Logan in 2 weeks or at least comin to watch? I'm plannin on pullin saturday night, I would friday too but I gotta work that night.

I'm still thinking about an s471-75 or so then maybe swap housings and put it under an HE351 when its not pulling season.
You looking for a lockup trans? Alright good deal, yeah see if you can come watch, it should be a big show and its been a while since I've talked to ya. I'm working at Kenworth in the truck shop here in Pocatello, Been here about 6 months and I'm on the nightshift from 3 to midnight so I won't be able to make it Friday night.

Welp really been livin up to my screenname this year.
Really tore it up good last night. Broke a traction bar frame mount which caused the axle to wrap up severly which in turn broke both spring perches on the axle, then with the crazy pinion angle it spit the shaft out when it ripped the straps off the yoke, it also broke both spring center pins and bent some u bolts.
However I ended up with a 3rd and a 2nd

Ouch. I always say I want to try this but seeing that makes me kinda glad they never have pulls here in this stupid state. Interesting shock location, guessing that has something to do with you pulling with your truck I can see how that would be better for axle bounce vs. The dodge "A" frame style.
Hope its all a fairly easy fix for you, good luck.

Pulled today. 1st HIGH 4x4. Got around 3200rpms peak and pulled 233.44'. 2nd or 3rd from last as there were a couple bouncing, jacked up Chevys. Next year is going to have suspension blocks and so go fast mods. The traction bars and AT tires helped the giant jump when the truck stopped but when it was still under full throttle. Actually spun out.

My in-cab view, taken with a Razr Maxx front facing camera. It should be in HD...I am trying to get it uploaded right now with the correct sound...
