OK now I'm really jealous. You have the coolest first gen and don't have to go to work every day anymore!

I know, I know.....the guys I USED to work with call and asked what I did today. I just tell them I did what I wanted, didn't do anything I didn't want to. I see in your pictures that you've got very slick 93 also. I don't see very many black ones.

I like the black ones. Unfortunately mine's paint is peeling off on the flat surfaces, but it's still mostly black!

I saw that rig on Ebay. Wasn't it an oregon truck that went to texas ?.... or something of that matter ?

is it as sweet in person as it was on the web? I was drooling when I saw that truck, and I was even reprimanded by David for posting a link to it to show everyone here such a find.

You have to show more pix of that one. Couldn't believe how nice it was.

I was only able to post 4 more pictures in my gallery, ran out of space. I bought the truck out of Texas and I believe it did come from Oregon. It looks better in person than pictures, there is just so many details the pictures don't pick up. Almost...too nice to drive, makes me a little nervous. Thanks.

Just take out good insurance on it and drive it, I have seen many many 1st gens and yours is THE nicest one i have seen.

I watched it like a hawk on e-bay, it's almost like a new one.

I owned a 1957 chevy for 24 years and i didn't drive it as much as i should have, now that i have sold it i regreat it.

heres a pic of the old five seven

Your truck is pretty nice too FirstGenFarmBoy! I agree, that black extended cab is about a 9.95 on a 10.0 scale.

Great looking 57. My first car was a 57 2-door post, bought it in 69 for
$240.00. Drove it all through high school. Still remains one of the best body styles Chevrolet ever came up with. Bill

92gen1_fan I had to do a double take on your truck, I thought it was my grandpa's old girl for a minute. He had the same truck, grandma sold it for about 5K a couple years ago. I wish I could have afforded another one. thing all work out though, i am cruising his old crew now.

Nice trucks guys. The last couple posted are nice.
