Don't get close. She was a basket case. Had to plate the frame from the cab back then add 4 new spring hangers and redrill all holes for bed, cab, overload, and crossmembers. The cab is bad also. Been working on that lately.

That truck is a twin to SteamDave's - except yours must not have gotten the teflon primer coat at the factory.

I like the tires, they look like they do well in the snow - and not so bad in the mud either.

They are great in deep snow and on hard pack. The truck has welded diff's front and rear. It will push its way through 4' if need be.

Mud however, as long as it is more water then mud it is not bad. The lugs are too closely spaced for real thick mud cleaning. Trails and snow and the lack of ware on street driving is where they shine.

Heres one of my old beater, going to get a quote from a body shop on how much it will cost to get the dents out and then maybe a new paint job, not sure on color if I do get it painted.
