1st gen dyno #'s list

Is there a master list of dyno #'s for the DTR 1st genners? I just thought that it would be interesting to see what kind of power everyone is making with these old trucks. Maybe something to put in the "Sticky"? It's just a suggestion, if it hasn't been done already.

Stomp, those numbers are at the crank, so you're probably only at about 128/320 at the wheels

Wonder what???? Last time I was on the dyno I ran 622hp or something. I would have to pull out the dyno sheet to see what the torque was. Dont have the time to mess with it anymore. Maybe this winter i can get it back in the shop. We will have to wait and see.

Yeah right! Dont you mean 226?

Dont let the new guys work you up...they think 400hp out of a first gen is earth-shattering. This is what happens when you dont hang around the diese sites anymore...you become a diesel "myth"

Man JD730, i was feeling pretty good about my 373/837 until you called it lowly! I mean c'mon it's not that bad right? it's more than double what it started out with! lol, hopefully within the year i'll be sitting at a towable 500/1000+... we'll see...

400hp earth-shattering? No, but you got to admit it is pretty impressive. Esp if they still have a 12mm VE and its on #2 only. How many VE trucks are there that are over 400hp on #2 ONLY? 15-20 counting 14mm pumps? 600hp with a 12mm VE would be close to earth-shattering.

400 hp was earth shattering like 5 years ago. back in the day it used to be widely believed that 300hp out of a ve would burn the motor up.
