Starting a new project truck and looking for a few pointers and suggestions, Truck has 225000 miles on it. Trans is already out and in need of a torque converter, so build whats in it or swap time? I plan on making this truck a daily driver and continuing to build as budget allows. My goal is 550+hp and for it to be reliable.

 

I'd build what you have in there already. Even at 225K miles it still has plenty of life left in it. Also if you happen to have an Ooops...while trying to achieve your 550hp number you won't feel so sick.
